When ChatGPT Is Your Life Coach
With the rise of Artificial Intelligence people are turning to ChatGPT and other similar AI platforms to provide life coaching for free. They plug in whatever they need help with, confidence, career coaching, relationship advice, health and fitness challenges and even nutrition plans but just because AI can provide it all doesn’t mean it will deliver on the results. Here’s why you need a human not AI to help you with life and confidence coaching.
Catch Ups with a Difference
What women doesn’t love a wonderful catch up with her girlfriends right? Bottomless brunches, shopping, picnic fun, mini hikes heck huge hikes, coffee catch ups & gossip sessions over margaritas…they are all fabulous but what if catch ups could give us a glow up even more than any of these? I’d hedge a bet you’d love them just as much if not more!
Plastic not Fantastic
I hate plastic surgery. The inflated pufferfish lips, the enhanced cheekbones, the immovable facial skin & the reality that the 80 year old looking like a 20 something is still going to feel considerably self -conscious when they witness two sides of themselves when their naked, even after spending a colossal amount of aesthetic treatments. Aesthetic salons are everywhere and the rise continues despite women innately knowing that botox or plastic surgery won’t change how you feel about yourself.
Enhancing Your Financial Confidence In 26/27
When women think of confidence we don’t often incorporate financial confidence into the equation, yet our ability to save, invest and spend impacts our health and wellbeing. Instead of focussing on what to spend your tax return on this year, women need to be prioritising financial confidence as it’s pivotal to so many areas of our life where we want confidence. In this blog post I discuss how financial confidence can open up doors to improve better physical and emotional health and even help build better relationships.
The More You Override Yourself, The Harder Confidence Becomes To Hold
Confidence, at its quietest, is the ability to trust your own reading of your life. To let anger tell you something before you start arguing yourself out of it. To reach a clear answer and let it stand without immediately convening an internal committee to review it. This is the part that quietly unravels. In small, ordinary moments that don't look like confidence at all.
Why your style is quietly running your confidence
You are sharp. You are capable. You have built something real in your career, your business, or your life. So why do you still stand in front of your wardrobe some mornings feeling like none of it is quite right?
You pull something on, glance in the mirror, and before you have even had your coffee, a low-level doubt has already settled in. You walk into that meeting, that networking event, that client presentation, and some part of your brain is still back at the wardrobe, second-guessing itself. This is not a small thing. It is not about vanity either. In 19 years of working with women, I have seen this pattern repeat itself across industries, income levels, life stages, and personalities. The clothes we put on our bodies are not just fabric. They are a signal to the world, and to ourselves.
Are you happy with who you are?
I want you to take 5 minutes and pause, ask yourself, Am I happy with who I am? Sit in silence while you hear yourself think of the answers to this question. You may answer with a resounding yes, a quiet ‘pretty good’ or sit there quietly conjuring up a multitude of other questions. Why am I not happy? How did I get here? The answer to this question is not what matters most, it’s rather that you actually ask the question
An Event To Boost Your Confidence
I love doing things on my own and I have no qualms in my own company. This has meant my life has never been on hold from doing the things I want, from going to the movies, dinner, AFL, travel in Australia and overseas when I’ve wanted to do it, I just did. However, there are sometimes where I really want to share experiences with others and being new to Brisbane while I had attended several group events and made new friends I wanted to expand my social circle. I also found women in some of these friendship groups often had struggles with self-worth and confidence. So, to fill the gap I created The Confidence Collective where women can attend fun events and grow in confidence with mini group confidence coaching.
The World Would Be A Different Place…
When I started my business I was acutely aware of how much someone’s life would change by developing self love and acceptance. All the internal angst that’s created from seeking approval from others is alleviated, the belief that you need to ‘perform’ to be loved gone and in it’s place an immense freedom of knowing you are in control of your life and how you feel. You don’t need to accept others criticism, you don’t need to do what people think you ‘should’, you can spend more time being present because you free up so much space in your mind with useless stuff that once only bogged you down. When I worked with individuals, once their confidence shifted so did their relationships. Better healthier relationships came in to play, ones rooted in being real, upfront, honest and appreciated for who you are. There was no denying, one person’s life changed sense an immense ripple through the lives of others.
Stop editing yourself, start living!
When you write a book at some point you have to stop editing. Back in 2015 I wrote my first book. I edited it 27 times. I distinctly recall looking at my pizza in the oven and hoping it would cook quicker only to later realise that I’d never turned the oven on at all. Personal development is much like writing a book.
You can be a perfectionist and decide wholeheartedly that the work will never be over. And to be fair, if you foster the growth mindset the work doesn’t end but it’s how you edit your life in the personal development that reinforces empowering or devastating beliefs.
Counting Down Till Christmas With FUN!
I love counting down the days until Christmas. As a child this meant waiting each day until my chocolate surprise in the advent calendar was able to be eaten at approximately the same time as breakfast. As an adult I wanted to continue the fun of something new each day but without the chocolate (because I often received lots of chocolate as gifts and struggled to get through it all). Being a single woman without children I wanted to make sure the Christmas season was just as fun as it is for families so I set out to make the advent calendar reflect the kind of fun I wanted to have across the season and so my homemade Advent Calendar was born.
Across the first 24 days of Christmas I created a list of things to do, enjoy, have or gift to get into the Christmas spirit. Take a look and join me on the adventure that is counting down to Christmas!

No BS Barbie
When I first started business I was told, don’t tell people what they need tell people what they want to hear. Only problem is I think life is full of that bullsh*t. I see it in the coaching industry a lot. Relationship coaches suggesting that you’ll find your husband or wife in 12 weeks. Business coaches who promise you 6 figures before you’ve signed up for their program or had an onboarding call. You get the gist. Now don’t get me wrong I love a transformation but usually when someone comes to me they are sick of the BS in their head and or their life, they don’t want any more BS.
What moving house taught me about life
In January, I moved house. it was a full on experience of packing, unpacking, cleaning, sorting and organising across two places over several weeks. I do not like moving, but there’s a few things that I’ve learnt about life from my recent move that I wish to share with you.

10 Tips to Becoming Charismatic
You’ve seen it in the movies, at a social event, even at high school all those years ago- that person who is very charismatic, to the point where you feel a pull to want to be around them. Charismatic people excel at attracting, influencing and inspiring people (Collins Dictionary) but it is because they do it with total awareness about who they are that it’s impact is so great. You very rarely encounter a charismatic person who lacks self awareness, its the vulnerability, honesty and their ability to make you feel like you is enough that makes them addictive people to be around.
Self esteem, self worth & self confidence- what's the difference?
Self worth, self esteem, and self confidence are three concepts that are often used interchangeably, but they are actually distinct and important aspects of our mental and emotional health. Understanding the difference between these three concepts can help you build a healthier, more fulfilling life and confident life.
When an individual exudes self-confidence it is clear that they know their worth. In action, they do what matters to them most and they leave those things that aren’t behind; they have time because they know where their effort is best spent and they no longer people please or entertain other’s vision for their life before their own. Self-worth is the foundation of confidence.
How to captivate an audience in social settings
Are you looking to intrigue your audience to get them to be magnetised to who you are in any social setting? If so this blog post is for you.
You are going to a social event and you want to captivate the audience you want them to notice you but not just notice you almost ogle at you in admiration. 1% shifts
The concept of 1% shifts is phenomenal. It makes achieving goals incredibly easy to breakdown. However most people still don’t make the 1% simple enough. I approach the 1% method of goal planning to that of Biomechanics- because I’m a nerd and I love the science behind it. In Biomechanics every tiny little action has to happen in order for you to have one fluid movement that creates the greatest performance. Every single action is connected. It is exactly the same for every goal you have.
